WEBDESIGN 2010
ABOUT US
I have lived with dogs all my life and I cannot imagine a life without them.
I have always had big breeds with short coats until the day when a Tibetan terrier puppy moved in 2004. She came to us by a mere chance.
Before that I didn't even know that there were a breed called tibetan terrier and I had never seen one before 2004 either. And to be real honest, I was not so sure that such a small and long coated dog was something for me. But she moved in and in the beginning I didn't understand her at all, what was this? She didn't act like my other dogs I have had in my life. But than in some strange way it happened... I have seen the light! I was totally and completely fascinated and so in love with this adorable, wonderful, beautiful breed!
So one more TT moved in and also she made a great impression. And I began to understand the saying:
"Tibetan Terrier is a gift from the roof of the world"
The third one moved in... she also made a great impression. And in 2008 I bought a Tibetan Terrier male from their origin country Tibet. We could finally bring him to Sweden in the end of 2009. In that connection I applied for the kennel name at the Swedish Kennelclub.
And if I hadn't got help from those unique persons to bring him to Sweden he would not be here today. They are unique and there enthusiasm and knowledge and experience helped me to bring him home.
So a very special thanks to:
Berit Edlund, kennel Zelandonis (Sweden)
Margareta Sundqvist, kennel A-Mas (Sweden)
Paula Forsbacka, kennel Lövskärs (Finland)
Jack (Kina)

Sunda in the forest
Our dogs live with us as familymembers.
I work from home so I have a very nice company during working hours!
Here also lives two cats, two older children and a younger one and my partner Lasse.
We live in a neighbourhood in a house with a garden but the forest is 100 meter from the house. We spend a lot of time in the forest and in the fields at my mothers farm.

Julia is the one that ususally is very tired in the mornings...
But here she sits and nag on Lasse and Sunda, get up, get up you lazy ones!
I want my morning-sandwich!
BREEDINGPOLICY
Kennel Sunda Kham follows TTS (Swedish TT Club) ethical guidelines:
Both parents should be hip scored with good results.
Both parents should have an eye certificate not older than one year.
Kennel Sunda Kham follows the Swedish Kennel Clubs breeding recommendation and rules and I have done many of their breeding courses.
The breed come to maturity late so I want the parents to be about three years before mating. There is a better chance to see the mentality qualities and healthiness.
We want longterm and lasting breeding with healthy dogs with good mentality.
It's important to keep the Tibetan terrier specific characteristic and work for increase the genetic variation. Temperament and genetically healthy and happy pups, these are the most important parts above all in our breeding.
A very special thanks to Berit Edlund, kennel Zelandonis who let me be present during whelping and mating. She have always time to answer questions and it's a person who can discuss everything even when we don't have the same opinions. So thank you so much Berit for everything, you have a very big heart!
